The Atlanta Vibe has welcomed returning and new players during the free agency period.

The returners for the 2025 season include 2024 MVP and outside hitter Leah Edmond, setter Marlie Monserez, libero Morgan Hentz, setter Whitney Bower, middle blocker Karis Watson, libero/ds Kamaile Hiapo and outside hitter Kacie Evans.

Coming in as new members on the team are middle blocker Shelly Fanning, Mckenna Vicini and Jenna Rosenthal, outside hitters Jenaisya Moore, Anna Dixon and Pia Timmer , libero Nomaris Velez- Agosto and opposites Aiko Jones and Courtney Buzzerio.

The Vibe's social team has already started introductions from a few new members by getting them to interact with the fans on Twitter/X to also get familiar with Atlanta by asking for different city recommendations.

In the period, the Vibe has also hired new head coach and former Power five head volleyball coach Kayla Banwarth, replacing former coach Todd Dagenais.

Also a former national Olympic player, Banwarth has expressed her excitement to bring her expertise and desire for a championship win this season. A "dream come true," is how Banwarth described being apart of the organization with the head position.

Moving pieces around and restructuring for the next season, after going 19-5 in their inaugural season, the Vibe is setting up to make the necessary improvements for a championship win in 2025.
