Tomorrow evening the Georgia Bulldogs will be going up against the Ole Miss Rebels at the Stegman Coliseum at 7 p.m. The Bulldogs currently hold an 11-1 home record for this season. And a 14-9 overall.

Their most recent game against the Rebels was in Oxford, Mississippi, on Jan. 14, where they took home a 62-58 win. That win became Georgia’s first road victory since their Auburn win on Feb. 2, 2021. Junior, Kario Oquendo put Georgia in the lead during the second half of that game with his game-high of 15 points. Along with senior leading scorer Terry Roberts’ addition of 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Roberts was unable to join the team last week against the Texas A & M Aggies due to a concussion he suffered during the Auburn matchup.

Ole Miss will be entering with a 9-14 record overall and is one of the five SEC teams Georgia will face on a home-and-home basis during this season. The Rebels’ senior forward, Myles Burns, so far leads the team in rebounds (6.3 Rebounds per game) and steals (2.1 Steals per game).

The match against Ole Miss is pretty significant for the Bulldogs’ head coach, Coach Mike White, as it is his alma mater and he played as a four-year starter from 1995-99. In 2004, he took on the position of the team’s assistant coach until 2011.

“The big picture for us right now is our film session here in a couple of hours and what we’ve retained. And again our attention to detail to give us the best chance to play really well tomorrow. Beyond that, it’s paralysis by analysis,” White said in a Bulldogs All-Access interview.

When also asked about the big picture for the team, junior guard Jabri Abdur-Rahim said that overall he thinks they just have to take one game at a time and stay in the moment.

“The big picture for us is focusing on Ole Miss,” Abdur-Rahim said. “They played us really good last time. I think coach said it earlier, we kind of stole one there. Right now, I think the bigger picture is focusing on what we could’ve done better in today’s practice and going into tomorrow for the game focused and prepared.”

Georgia versus Ole Miss game will also be available to watch on the SEC network at 7 p.m.
